We'll be traveling to Disneyland for the first time. Our 4YO is obsessed with the princesses. I was told there is a princess meal or princess make-over available. We will be at the park January 17 & 18. How can we book?

    Royal greetings!

A first visit to the Disneyland Resort is always special, but it's even better when you're with a tiny Mouseketeer who is experiencing the magic! I'll pull out my magic wand and use it to create a list of all the pixie-dusted places you can go to during your visit.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disneyland Park is where a Fairy Godmother's Apprentice can turn your little one into the prince or princess of their dreams! You'll want to make a reservation online right away (good news, I peeked and saw some openings during your travel dates) to schedule this special experience. You're welcome to bring a costume for your child, or you can choose a makeover package that includes one!

As for hungry royalty, I recommend the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure located inside the Napa Rose restaurant at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. This fancy 3-course breakfast is delicious, and your little royal will also get a special keepsake to take home after visiting with all the princesses. This is an extremely popular destination that does require reservations, but I do see some openings for a party of two during your visit. It might be a really special "mommy and me" date for you! You can also make a reservation for two and then try to modify it to include additional guests later. There might not be space, but sometimes things open up!

Any princess fan should plan to spend time in Fantasy Faire inside Disneyland Park! That's the place to Meet Disney Princesses and enjoy Storytelling at Royal Theater, which is one of my favorite shows! The path between the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and Fantasy Faire is also a fabulous place to take photos with Sleeping Beauty Castle in the background after your makeover.

If you're venturing over to Disney California Park then make sure you visit Anna and Elsa's Royal Welcome so that you can get an Olaf-approved warm hug! Then stroll over to The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure to board a "clam-mobile" and float along with our favorite mermaid princess. Scuttle gets a little mixed up with the story, but he always finds his way to happily ever after.

There is no better place to meet princesses than the Disneyland Resort! I hope you have the most royally amazing visit!

    Keep moving forward!
