We are traveling to disneyland California around thanksgiving, are they going to have any Frozen special things going on? Disney girl

    Greetings Rebecca,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth around Thanksgiving is a Fantasmic time to visit.

We aren't able to conceal our love for Frozen as well! Right now it is a little too early to know the details regarding the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. You will want to check the Disneyland Resort website about 6 weeks prior for the holiday announcements.

If you have any little Mouseketeers traveling with you, you may want to book a Frozen makeover at the new Anna & Elsa's Boutique. Details on the transformation have not been announced yet. However, I like to check the for all news regarding all Disney Parks, you will find "warm hugs" and magical updates. Simply call 714-781-STYLE to book any frosty makeovers.

There is the Frozen Royal Reception where you can meet the sisters from Arendelle. Disneyland Park recently changed the way Guests wait to see them; it is now more efficient. Guests will now want to head straight over to the Cast Member waiting by the Frozen Royal Reception to receive a new Frozen Character Experience Return Time, this is a new method to decrease wait times with a 20 minute window to return. I do suggest you arrive early to receive one of these Frozen Character Experience Return Times because, like Disney's FASTPASS, these will run out after a certain amount have been distributed for the day. (I would imagine this will still be in effect during your visit, however, check the for any updates before your trip.)

Currently, there is also the 'Frozen' Pre-Parade show just before the first performance of Mickey's Soundsational Parade.

I hope this helps. Please write us back if you have any more questions before your trip to the Disneyland Resort.

Sending you pixie dust on your "royal pursuit" at the Disneyland Resort!
