Kendall from TX Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Were traveling to Disney-FL in Dec, 14-20th. Were planning 4 days at the parks. 3 little girls 7, 6, and 4. was thinking 2 days at MK, 1 d at Epcot, and 1 day at the Hollywood studios. I'm overwhelmed at what to do, help! Are these the right parks for us?

    Hello Kendall

I am so excited for you, taking 3 little princesses to Walt Disney World, it is going to be a practically perfect dream come true. All Walt Disney World theme parks have something for everyone so your choices could never be wrong. But because Magic Kingdom park is such a magical place for so many princesses I do agree with spending two days there.

My big piece of advice, is get to know the parks and all they have to offer. Some great resources are the free Walt Disney World Vacation Planning DVD, here you will discover what the Walt Disney World Resort and theme parks has to offer. Also, consider purchasing, Birnbaum's Walt Disney World for Kids 2014 guide book, this book goes into details with pictures and great descriptives about the attractions, shows and other fun things you will want to know about at Walt Disney World. The Disney site just recently debuted a fantastic preschool planning guide for families, check it out as well. As your family explores these resources, start taking notes about what interests them and use this as a guideline for making your itinerary.

Lastly, keep a countdown calendar for your family, not only is this fun but it will remind you when important milestones for your trip are coming up. I am assuming your are staying at a Walt Disney World resort, if so 180 days is when you can begin making Advance Dining Reservations at most Table Service restaurants and is highly recommended, especially for Character Dining. And 90 days is when you are able to make FastPass+ reservations for your entire trip, so be sure to have a list of your top attractions ready to reserve.

This is lots of information and I am limited in how much I can write but I hope this helps get your started. Let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance and ENJOY planning your upcoming stay Walt Disney World.
