Deborah, hakuna matata! There are certainly many things available for your little prince to experience at Walt Disney World so I can understand that it can be a bit overwhelming. The fantastic news is that there are no wrong choices, he will absolutely enjoy every minute. My boys’ fondest memories of our past visits is just having fun with mom and dad. They love that my husband and I turn into kids and we just play together all day. I have been in the Parks when both my boys were around 4-years-old. Let me share with you some of what their favorites were at that age.
If your little Swashbuckler is into Pirates, I would strongly recommend The Pirates League at Magic Kingdom Park. There he will be transformed into a true pirate, even given a pirate name! ARRRR! I find this experience to be an incredible value. Be sure to make reservations so you are guaranteed a spot with the crew.
How would your little guy like to become a real Jedi? If The Force is calling him, head over to the Jedi Training Academy at Disney's Hollywood Studios. He will train like a Jedi and even have a chance to match his skills against Darth Vader. To enjoy this experience, you do need to register in the morning at the ABC Sound Studio. I would suggest getting to the Park before it opens and head there first when you get into the Park. Time slots are filled on a first come first serve basis. While spending the day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios there are also two amazing shows that my little boys loved - they still can’t miss them even now. Witness the adventure of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! and the thrill of Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show.
I hope I was able to help, Deborah! If you have any other questions, please come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
