Hey Howdy Hey Jeff and welcome to planDisney!
There is no better way to get into the Holiday spirit than celebrating this special time of year in the Most Magical Place on Earth! There will be so many things happening during your stay in the parks, in most resorts and over at Disney Springs to get you in the holiday spirit! Thank you so much for your question about specific park hours during your stay. Let's see what we can come up with.
I would make sure to keep an eye on the specific
park hours as it is still really early and these may change as we get closer to your vacation dates. One thing that I can tell you that may impact the park hours for Magic Kingdom is the nights when
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be celebrated. During these nights, the party will be held from 7:00 p.m. EST to midnight. On those nights, the parks will close to Guests with standard theme park tickets at 7:00 p.m. and unfortunately, there will not be firework shows on those nights.
We do have the
dates for all of Mickey's Verry Merry Christmas Party celebrations and can confidently say when the parks will close on those dates. It looks like November 29th, December 1st and 2nd are scheduled parties during your trip and Magic Kingdom will be closed at 7:00 p.m. on those nights for Guests without these special tickets for this event.
If you want to make sure you are able to see the
Disney Enchantment nighttime firework show in Magic Kingdom, I would suggest looking into possibly changing your reservation for a different day. This will ensure that you can see the fireworks and Main Street U.S.A. light up along with Cinderella Castle for the spectacular show!
You will have so many options to take part in the holiday festivities during your trip. One of my top tips during that time of year is to take a monorail ride around to the Magic Kingdom resorts and stop by to check them out. They all are usually decked out with full trees and decorations unique to the theme of the resort. I would try to make
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa your last stop as they usually go all out. In the past, Disney Cast Members have assembled a life-sized gingerbread house that is operational where you can purchase light snacks and refreshments! This, of course, is only one of the many ways to celebrate the holiday season and I recommend following along with
Disney Parks Blog for the latest. There you will hear about any announcements for special holiday festivities and tasty treat offerings around the resort!
Best of luck as you continue to plan your vacation later this year. Please feel free to stop back and let us know if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
