Hi Carmen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I love visiting the Disney
water parks. You will enjoy a slower pace than the four theme parks but still have plenty to occupy your day, with all the rides and lazy rivers. Disney's Blizzard Beach is home to a heated 1-acre wave pool,
Melt-Away Bay, where you can bob around with or without an inner tube before relaxing on the surrounding white sand beaches and enjoying the other amazing attractions there. On the other hand, the
Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool boasts to be the largest surf pool in North America and I can confirm it is absolutely fabulous! I really enjoy spending a few days at the Disney Water Parks as a relaxing time. They provide everything for the whole family, places to relax, to enjoy the water, with great food choices and even a refillable drinks mug that you can use for the whole day.
You are permitted to wear a two-piece swimsuit, and the official dress code is:
Swim attire must be appropriate for a family environment. Inappropriate swim attire, swim attire with buckles, rivets, zippers or exposed metal, and other sharp objects are not allowed on any of the attractions.
Jeans (denim) and wetsuits (neoprene) are not permitted on the following attractions at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park: Bay Slides, Humunga Kowabunga, Ketchakiddee Creek and Storm Slides.
A word of caution, however. It is suggested that two-piece swimwear may not be suitable to wear on the more extreme rides, such as
Summit Plummit or Crush 'N' Gusher, as the force of the water may cause you to part company with some of your swimwear!
Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
