Hi, there!
Oh boy, Heather - with two 2-year olds in tow, you're sure to have an adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort. What fun!
I'm glad to hear you have the
Disney Dining Plan. My family loves the convenience and value it adds to our Walt Disney World Resort vacations! Dining Plan entitlements are unavailable for Guests under the age of 3. However, your little ones are welcome to share from an adult plate at no extra charge. Additionally, you may purchase them anything from the menu and pay out of pocket for those items. When we used the Disney Dining Plan and had kiddos under the age of 3, we usually just had them share from our adult plates. We found the portion sizes to be generous, and more than enough to share! Children under the age of 3 may eat for free at buffets and all-you-can-eat dining locations, so we took advantage of that benefit by making advanced dining reservations at
Chef Mickey's,
Tusker House Restaurant, and
The Crystal Palace, where our kiddos could visit with their favorite Disney characters AND eat whatever they wanted at no extra charge! Win-win, right? Guests are permitted to take food and drinks into the theme parks, so we would pack our kids' favorite snacks and juice boxes in our backpack, and our boys were more than content with those options for snack time.
Thanks for stopping by, Heather. I love chatting about
little ones and the Walt Disney World Resort, so if you have any other questions, please let me know!
