Traveling to Disney World soon and wondering if my 12 and 14 year old can accompany us to resort lounges?

    You betcha they can, Holly!

When they say that Walt Disney World offers a little something for everyone, they really mean it. The entire family can get in on the fun both in the theme parks and even in the lounges at Walt Disney World. My husband and I bring our kids along with us to the lounges multiple times during every visit. Some of our favorite lounges include Territory Lounge at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and The Wave Lounge at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Currently, only registered Guests and those with dining reservations are permitted to access hotels within the Disney Resorts Collection. Because the lounges do not accept reservations, you would need one for another dining establishment on property in order to visit a hotel where you are not registered.

There are some really great lounges within the theme parks, too. Of them, my personal favorite is The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. It offers Guests the chance to relax on a quaint patio and enjoy some delicious beverages whilst watching people pass at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Nomad Lounge at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is another great choice.

All of the locations I’ve mentioned serve adult beverages but can also craft a fun mocktail for the under 21 crowd, too.

I hope that helps, Holly. Cheers!
