    Hi! I am traveling to Disney World soon from outside the U.S. but my parents are arriving a day before. They want to wait for me in the park the day I arrive. Can I help them booking Genie + for them from outside U.S?

    It sounds like you're hoping to assist your parents with their Disney Genie+ service purchase and selections from outside the U.S. because they arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort ahead of you. Disney Genie+ service is a great way for Guests to maximize their time in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks while minimizing time in attraction queues by using Lightning Lane entrances. This helpful service is available through the My Disney Experience mobile app. Claudia, I chatted with a few friendly Cast Members who indicated that, although Guests may be able to download and access the My Disney Experience mobile app from outside the U.S., they may experience difficulties when attempting to purchase and make Disney Genie+ service selections if their devices do not have local IP addresses.

    Claudia, I encourage you to introduce your parents to the steps to purchase and utilize Disney Genie+ service ahead of your vacation so that they might be comfortable with completing this process on their own. The Disney Genie+ service information page on the Walt Disney World Resort website lists these steps in detail. There, you'll also find several helpful "How To" videos to guide you through making Lightning Lane entry selections and utilizing Disney Genie+ service in the My Disney Experience mobile app! If your parents run into any difficulties once in the theme park, they are welcome to visit any of the Guest Experience Team locations (usually under blue umbrellas) located throughout the theme park for assistance.
