    We are traveling to Disney World in September to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. We have been unable to get a reservation for Cinderella's Royal Table for any of the days we will be there (Sept 24-27th). Any advice on how to get reservations?

    Hi Amanda!

    I know how frustrating it can be when you aren't able to get a dining reservation that you really want. However, don't give up hope!

    Now that it's possible to make dining reservations online it is easier than ever to check for openings at restaurants on your wish list. I would suggest checking for availability at Cinderella's Royal Table whenever you have the chance. I have had luck finding openings at a few restaurants by checking the online system frequently. You never know when someone might cancel and something will show up.

    In the case of Cinderella's Royal Table I would also try calling while on vacation to see if there have been any cancellations. Since you have to place a credit card on file when you book the reservation in case you don't show up, people are much more likely to cancel when they know they won't make it. You have to cancel 24 hours in advance to avoid penalty so it's very likely that you may have luck while you are on vacation. You could also try stopping by the restaurant's podium to inquire about availability.
