Hello, we are traveling to Disney World next week. We have a one year old and took advantage of the rider switch service when we were there last year. Will that still function the same or will it change with the Genie system?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to planDisney, Chelsea. It looks like you'll be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort in just two, short days. And with a little one in tow! Oh my goodness - that's so exciting!

As a mom of three, I just love Disney's Rider Switch service. My little one is too little to ride popular thrill attractions, but with Rider Switch, my family can take turns hopping on these attractions without experiencing two wait times! While no specific details have been released about how this family-friendly service will work with the new Disney Genie Service, we expect that it will work much the same as it has. When you're ready to use Rider Switch, approach the greeting Cast Member at the entrance of the attraction. If the service changes in any way with the debut of Disney Genie Service tomorrow, the Cast Member will be able to share those details with you!

Did you know there's a conveniently located Baby Care Center in each of the four theme parks? The Baby Care Center is the perfect place to take your little one for a quiet feeding or diaper change amid an adventure-filled day.

I hope this was helpful, Chelsea. I'm wishing you another magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
