we will be traveling to disney world next month with an 18 month old. besides some of the attractions, are there any rides she can participate in?

Hi Julie, you are going to have a ball watching your little one take in all the magic, sounds, and lights of Walt Disney World. I have always loved visiting the parks, but it became a totally new experience once I got the chance to see it through my kids' eyes!

The answer is YES! Unless there is a posted height minimum or age restrictrion, you are welcome to take your 18 month old on any ride accompanied by an adult! So, have a ball.

In addition to rides, be sure to take her to character greetings. There is nothing cuter than a toddler gazing up at a Disney Princess or cautiously touching Pooh's nose. Keep in mind that sometimes little ones can be a little hesitant to the characters, but you know your child best and if she seems nervous, don't push it!

Some other fun attractions that kids get a kick out of are Turtle Talk with Crush at the Living Seas with Nemo in Epcot and the Affection Section at Rafiki's Planet Watch in Animal Kingdom. Tiny tots also tend to love the parades and shows like Disney Junior-Live on Stage at Hollywood Studios or Country Bear Jamboree at Magic Kingdom.

    Cherish those memories!
