I will be traveling to Disney World next December with a 4 month old. We are staying at Animal Kingdom. Would you recommend I bring my own pack n play and stroller, or is it worth renting from Disney?

    Jambo Ashley!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so exciting to see that you are planning for your stay at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. My daughter was 4 months old when we took her for the very first time and it was so magical. The Baby Care Centers, located within all 4 theme parks, were such a great place to take my daughter when a little quiet time was needed. As far as traveling with our own Pack ‘n Play, we didn’t. After we made our Disney Resort Hotel reservation we went ahead and requested a Pack ‘n Play for our room. Once we arrived it was already set up in our room waiting for us to use.

Before visiting, I thought about what my daughter enjoyed regularly. I then tried to bring that consistency with me to Walt Disney World Resort so that she could enjoy all the magic within her comfort! When it came to the stroller, we did bring our own from home. I felt that she was too small to fit in the standard strollers provided to rent. She also normally shares the double stroller with her brother. During our visit she was in her baby carrier most of the day. The only time she was really in the stroller was to nap, in which case I was happy we brought ours from home because it does recline.

There’s so much to do with little ones while visiting you won’t regret either bringing your own stroller or renting one! Let us know if you have more questions when it comes to traveling with little ones
