Traveling to Disney World March 2024 and have purchased the Disney Dining Plan. Is the Dole Whip not covered as a 'snack' item under this plan any longer? Looking at all the places that serve and all show "dining plan not accepted"!!

Hey there, Clarissa, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you've asked this great question about the dining plan and where you can get great snacks like DOLE Whip! I'll get right to the good news - at this time, you can use your snack for DOLE Whip at many dining locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort!

It looks like you're doing some research about where you can use the Disney Dining Plan. As a huge fan of dining plans, I think it's great that you've started to plan out where you'll be visiting during your vacation. I had a fairly long "bucket list" of all of the meals and snacks that I wanted to try during my recent vacation, and DOLE Whip was one that I happily enjoyed (a few times)!

When you look at the details of a dining location, especially one like Sunshine Tree Terrace at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll see that it says, "Dining Plan Meals Not Accepted." Hakuna Matata, friend, because you don't need to have a meal here, just a snack! When you click "View Menu," you'll see the snacks listed there. Not all snacks on a menu are always available for the dining plan, and everything is subject to availability, but the helpful Cast Members can help you if you have any questions, and you can always look for the little purple DDP logo that helps identify snacks on a menu.

I also recommend the snacks at Storybook Treats - the Rapunzel Sundae featuring DOLE Whip Lemon was a refreshing snack that was large enough to share! One of my other favorite DOLE Whip treats is the DOLE Whip Pineapple Juice Float with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum at Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Since this item includes alcohol, it isn't eligible for a snack, but it's worth the out-of-pocket cost to me, especially on a warm day!

Clarissa, I hope I've explained it all for you. As you can see, I get super excited about all things dining at Walt Disney World Resort. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you prepare for your vacation!

    Happy snacking!
