    Hi! I am traveling to Disney World in March 2011 with my four year old son who loves mickey, toy story, cars, etc... while my husband and i have been many times this will be our son's first trip. any suggestions on character dining he might enjoy?

    Hi Andrea,

    Disney World through the eyes of your son will be the most magical visit you've experienced so far! His eyes are going to light up and your heart is going to melt.

    There are some amazing character dining locations throughout WDW. My sons both love Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This is a great place to meet Mickey and his pals. Its also a great place to eat - the buffet is awesome!

    The Crystal Palace inside the Magic Kingdom is also one of our favorites. Tigger, Pooh and the gang will spring over to your table during your meal. This location also has a yummy buffet.

    If your son like's Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso, Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios may be just the ticket.

    Dining reservations can be made beginning 180 days prior to your trip. You can make reservations by calling 407-WDW-DINE or online by clicking here for character dining locations.

    Currently there are no character dining locations featuring the characters from Toy Story or Cars. However there are places in the parks to meet them in person. I recently answered some other questions on where to find them.
