I am traveling to Disney World the last week of August with my wife and 3 children aged 1, 2, and 3. We know we want to go to the Magic Kingdom but can't decide between Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. Which would be best for our kids this time of year

Hi Joey!  Yes, the Magic Kingdom is the first park of choice for any age child and then it is always tough to choose a second.  From my own family experience I would recommend the Animal Kingdom park.  It has so many opportunities for children to see and even meet real animals.  There are hands on areas such as the Boneyard where they can play and plenty to see and do with the attractions offered. There are also some great character greeting locations. A hidden gem is taking the train to Rafiki's Planet Watch where they can encounter some animals in the Affection Section.  Some of the educational information is above their heads but there is always something fun to see and do to keep their interest.  The last time my grandson (3) visited he was thrilled to be able to touch a real live crocodile!

If you want to start your day with a treat consider getting reservations for Donald's Safari Breakfast held at Tusker House.  Donald, Daisy, and crazy Goofy often are the guests for this delicious buffet.
