It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica!
There are so many special events that are happening all the time at Walt Disney World Resort, and one of the exciting events happening early next year is the
NFL Pro Bowl, which will be taking place at the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on January 26. There's going to be a whole week of football-related activities going on in the week leading up to the big game, which happens to be the day you arrive, so let's chat about what you might be able to expect on that first day of your vacation.
It's difficult to predict crowd levels with any certainty, but my experience with sporting events at Walt Disney World Resort is that if you're not going to be spending the day at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, you probably won't notice that the 2020 Pro Bowl is even happening. You'll be able to enjoy your time at either
Fantasia Gardens & Mini Golf or my favorite course,
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf, and the only place you might notice a few more people around will be in the evening at
Disney Springs when the Pro Bowl crowd may make their way over after the game for dinner and shopping. If you're planning on enjoying some of the world-class dining yourself at Disney Springs that evening, I recommend using the
My Disney Experience app to make a reservation at your favorite restaurant so you can guarantee that a table will be waiting for you.
Have a magical day, Jessica!
