Hi Leah,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about one of my favourite things: bringing babies to Walt Disney World Resort! My little guy was almost 6 months old for his first visit, and it’s probably one of my favourite visits of all time.
This handy Disney Parks Blog post gives you clear information about the height requirements for almost all of the attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort’s Theme Parks. If an attraction says that it can be experienced by Guests of “
any height”, then you’ll all be able to experience it with your little one riding in your lap (or beside you, if she can sit safely).
As for transportation, your little one can use any form of Walt Disney World Resort’s
Complimentary Resort Transportation quite easily. She won’t need a car seat for the buses, or water transportation and she can even stay in her stroller if you travel on the monorail! Please note that you will have to fold up her stroller for all other forms of transportation, which is why I highly recommend using a baby carrier, if you’re used to “wearing” her!
Finally, don’t forget to check out the
Baby Care Centers. Located in all four Theme Parks, they’re a great place to nurse, change diapers and just generally get out of the heat for a few minutes in the middle of the day.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
