We are traveling to Disney World in early November is this a good time of year to go with less crowds? there are 8 people going 6 adults & two children (6 & 1.5 yr old) Best hotel to accommodate us?

    Shayna:

Early November, especially after the first week and before Thanksgiving sees smaller crowds than the holidays and summer but it is still Regular Season and the crowds will be moderate. If your dates are flexible, I would definitely recommend going the week before Thanksgiving with a departure date by Saturday before the holiday crowds arrive.

With 8 in your party (really 7 because your 1.5-year-old will be considered a bed baby), I would look at a 2-bedroom suite at Bay Lake Tower allowing you proximity to the resort for naps for the little ones as well as views of the fireworks. Having two bathrooms cannot be overstated either. If you think you'll be visiting Epcot and Hollywood Studios, however, you may want to look at Boardwalk Villas for proximity to those parks as well. Having a kitchen for meals can greatly offset the price of the villa, so take that into account. If you find the villas outside your budget, but proximity is paramount, look at booking two rooms or a suite at the Swan or Dolphin nearby.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
