Bonjour Christiane,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Quebecker! I can’t think of a better birthday gift for your little guy than a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. It’s what my son asks for every time, and he’ll be turning seven this year, too!
Based on my experience, you should be able to note your son’s birthday on your
Disney Resort Hotel reservation when you do
Online Check-In. If you don’t see that option, or you forget to note it on your reservation at that time, don’t worry! When you do arrive for your Disney Parks vacation, you’ll be able to ask the Cast Member who will greet you to note it on your reservation at that time.
Don’t forget to make sure that your big boy wears his “Birthday Button” (a pin that says that he’s celebrating his birthday, and that has his name on it) wherever you go. You can pick one up from your Resort's
Lobby Concierge or
Guest Relations at any Theme Park or Disney Springs. Not only will everyone wish him a Happy Birthday when they see it, he may also get some small special treats and attention during your visit.
You’ll also want to mention that it’s his birthday when you make and check in for any of your
Disney Dining reservations. You can even
order a Disney-themed birthday cake for him, if you’d like to do so.
I hope my answer helps you plan the
perfect birthday celebration for your son this January. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français, si vous le souhaitez!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
