I am going to be traveling to Disney World in early March with my family, including our 6 1/2 month old baby. Will we be able to being him on any rides with us? Can we have him in a carrier if we take him on any rides?

    Welcome Catie!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking us your vacation planning question. It is wonderful to hear you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort this spring and you will be amazed at how many attractions your little one will be able to join you on. It's never too early to share the Disney magic.

My favorite planning resource for planning with younger Guests is the Planning for Pre-School Kids & Little Ones website. Here you will find a list of all the attractions appropriate for your baby, plus sample itineraries and helpful hints for making the most of your vacation. When my daughter was younger I carried her everywhere in her carrier to leave both hands open for important things like helping my other kids, or eating a delicious Mickey bar. As long as you and he fit comfortably and safety, you should be able to leave him in his carrier.  As a tip, make sure you help "guide" any lap bars down to ensure they don't come down too fast or too close.

Another tip for traveling with a little one is to check out the Baby Care Centers. These are great places to take a short rest, nurse, feed, change diapers or a variety of other conveniences to those traveling with children.

Have a wonderful vacation, Catie, and please let me know if there is anything else I am able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
