I will be traveling to Disney World for 5 days April 14 thru April 18th. How is the weather during that time and are the parks really crowded?

    Hi Regina,

You must be so excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I am excited for you because you will be visiting during one of my favorite times of the year!

I have experienced mild weather and manageable crowds in April. Visiting right between the spring break season and summer is great for lower crowds. I would plan for days warm enough to swim and have a light layer for evenings like a hoodie or a cardigan, should you need it.

You may see some rain during this time, but the good news about Florida rain is it doesn't tend to last very long. Having a poncho on hand is always a good idea.

While you are there, I hope you have a chance to spend some time at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. It's one of my favorite events packed with beautiful floral displays, delicious food and entertainment.

I hope this helps you, Regina. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

    Happy planning!

    Andrea U.
