We are traveling to Disney World in August, first trip for our 6yr and 7mo old (10mo for trip). We have the Deluxe Dining Package to take advantage of Character Meals each day. Do we need to include our infant in our reservation number when booking?

Hi Katrina!  I have to confess that I'm turning three shades of green over here; I am dying to try the deluxe dining plan some day during a future trip.  We love Disney dining!  As for your question, yes, you do need to include the infant for the total party count when you make your reservations.  He or she will not be charged (unless you order a child's meal for him or her), but when it comes to planning for table size and whatnot, it is helpful if the restaurant has an accurate head count.  Have a great trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
