We are traveling to Disney World in August for my daughter's 6th birthday. Her birthday is in November, but since my older son is autistic we had to schedule around his more flexible summer shedule. Would it be ok for her to wear a birthday button?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Hillary ~

I can't think of a better place to celebrate a 6th birthday than Disney World!

Guests often celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, or other special occasions at Disney before or after the actual date. It is sometimes hard to coordinate schedules to be at Disney on the exact date. Disney completely understands that and your daughter is more than welcome to get a "Happy Birthday" button to wear during your visit to celebrate her birthday.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, you can request a "Happy Birthday" upon check in. If not, you can request a button for her at any Guest Relations location in the theme parks or water parks.

If you would like to plan something special to celebrate your daughter's birthday while you are there, let us know us and we will be happy to give you some ideas. Also let me know if you need some suggestions for traveling to Disney with a special needs child. It would be my pleasure to assist you.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
