Hi Jessica!
Thanks for sailing over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your important question! Have you pulled out your suitcases, yet? Your voyage to Alaska is just weeks away! I look forward to everything when it comes to cruising the high seas with Captain Mickey, but dining during a Disney Cruise is in a class all its own.
If you haven't done so already, be sure to call Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and notify the agents that your son eats a gluten-free diet. The helpful agent over the phone will make a note on your reservation for your Server and Assistant Server. I'm happy to share that your son will have a selection of gluten-free options on the menu each night at your table service restaurant. Also, once you discuss your son's
dietary needs with your Server, he/she will be able to offer delicious options for him to try! When dining at the Cabanas buffet or on the pool deck, ask the servers if there are gluten-free options available. If your son doesn't find something yummy that catches his eye, I recommend dining at the table service restaurant. The table service restaurant(s) open for breakfast and lunch will be listed in your Personal Navigator newsletter.
You may bring
nonperishable snacks that are unopened, in their original packaging, onboard with you. Many families do this and it's a great idea, especially for a kiddo who is gluten-free!
Jessica, once onboard, your Server and Assistant Server will go out of their way to make sure your son has a wonderful dining experience. If you have any other questions before stepping aboard the Disney Wonder, please sail back and visit us again!
