Hello, I am traveling on the Disney Wish Cruise in November with my 2 year old. Few questions: - My daughter is allergic to Eggs and Peanuts, therefore she's left with few options to eat out. Can I bring her frozen food on board?

Hi, Olga! I’m so glad you thought to visit planDisney with your question.

I can't wait for you to be welcomed aboard the enchanting Disney Wish for your fairy-tale vacation at sea. When you enter the Grand Hall, you’ll feel like a guest of Cinderella and her royal friends. Your little one will love pointing her wishing wand to the sky as the dazzling chandelier dances with color.

Olga, I know what it’s like sailing with a child with food allergies. Let me assure you that Disney Cruise Line does a fantastic job accommodating guests with special dietary needs and allergies. I recommend filling out the Special Services form located under your reservation, noting your daughter’s allergies.

Your dining room servers will make sure your daughter has allergy-friendly choices. My son loves fruit, so our servers would bring him a big bowl of pineapple and grapes each night. While the main dining rooms are better equipped to handle food allergies, she can still enjoy the quick service locations. Please let a crew member know about her dietary needs, and the chef will come out and either take her order or point out the safe options. My son was even able to get Mickey Waffles without eggs or milk. I remember crying when the chef said making him safe waffles wasn’t a problem. I know your daughter is going to have lots of choices, too!

Regarding your question, you are welcome to bring along a few favorite nonperishable snack food items in their original factory-sealed packaging. Coolers no larger than 12″ x 12″ x 12″ are permitted for items related to dietary restrictions. Your stateroom does have a refrigerator, but electrical kitchen appliances are prohibited. The crew isn’t allowed to store or heat food you brought from home.

I hope I’ve been able to help put your mind at ease so you can focus on what’s most important: making priceless memories with your family. Please see me again if you have any more questions.
