Hi- we are traveling to Disney in 2 weeks. We are booked at the Contemporary in the garden wing.I was trying to find out the location of the elevators since my child is preoccupied with people that go in & out. How can I find out where they are located?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tricia! I’ve stayed in the Garden Wing of Disney’s Contemporary Resort a few times so I’ll do my best to let you know where you can find some elevators!

As you cross to the “north” end of the Garden Wing from the Main Tower sidewalk, you’ll encounter a small elevator that fits really no more than three people and their suitcases. In the center lobby of the Garden Wing, you’ll find yet another elevator and a suitable staircase. I would expect elevators to be at the “tips” of the other ends of the buildings, since there are exterior exits and sidewalks to guide you around the property of the Contemporary, but I can only speak to these specific two. When you check in to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can ask either to be placed near to or away from the elevators, depending on which may suit your family’s preferences. I think you’ll enjoy the Garden Wing, as it’s very peaceful. Be sure to check the Times Guide at your Front Desk to watch the Electrical Water Pageant that passes by in the Lagoon nearby… it’s quite a magical night time spectacle!

If I can help you with any more upcoming vacation issues, please don’t hesitate to ask. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
