    I am traveling to Disney in 2 weeks with my husband and 11 month old son. We are staying at the AS Sports, but wanted to take our son to see the animals at the AKL. Is it possible to drive over there or do we have to take the bus?

    Hi Tiffany!

         The choice is yours.  If you plan on driving, simply let the guard at the gate know that you are there to check out the Lodge.  If you have access to a car, it will definitely be the quickest route at only 10 minutes!  However, if you would like to use the bus system, you must first take a bus to Blizzard Beach and then switch to a bus headed for the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  The bus route can take up to 45 minutes!  Why not grab lunch at Mara's, their counter service restaurant, while you are at it?  Have a great time with your guys!
