Traveling to Disney with a 9 week old & using an infant travel system. You have to detach the car seat from stroller to use. Can the infant stay in the seat while riding trams. Will it need to sit next to me or will seat be allowed to ride on my lap

    Howdy Jenny!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Oh, I am so excited for you!  Bringing the tiniest of adventurers to the Walt Disney World Resort makes for the most unforgettable moments.  Thank you for sharing your question with us.

My kiddos are getting big, but they love the Walt Disney World Resort transportation!  When taking the different transportation options, I have seen several families using an infant travel system.  While using the parking trams and Walt Disney World bus transportation, you will need to fold your stroller, and since there are no seat belts, you will need to hold your little adventurer for safety reasons.  When using the Disney Skyliner, monorail, and most water taxis, you will be able to quickly push your stroller on and enjoy the ride.  The only times you may need to fold your stroller on these particular means of transportation, would be if more space is needed.

I highly recommend adding Memory Maker to your Walt Disney World vacation package.  Since you are going to the Walt Disney World Resort at such a precious time, I know you will want to capture all the photos possible.  Memory Maker is the best way to obtain an unlimited amount of pictures at a great price!  The Disney PhotoPass Photographers will help you capture those unforgettable moments, and you will be able to reflect on them throughout the years.

There are so many new and exciting things to do and see at the Walt Disney World Resort that are perfect for all ages!  Check the Disney Parks Blog for regular updates on everything in the weeks and months to come.  Also, if you have any more questions while you are planning, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We are always here to help with your planning questions, Jenny!  Happy planning!
