We are traveling to Disney for the week of April 9th, is there a way to find out what rides will be closed for maintanence?

    Hi, Wendy!

It seems Mickey Mouse always has some new ideas for his parks, so you will find construction at times at various locations.   If you click HERE, you will find the calendar beginning April 9th.  You will see a column labeled Operation Updates that has what's happening in Magic Kingdom.    Here are the links for:

    Animal Kingdom
    Hollywood Studios
    Epcot

You might also want to check allears.net, go to SEARCH and search and enter REFURB.  This site is very good about what is happening in Walt Disney World.  This site will include refurbs at parks, resorts, and more.

Remember that all dates are tentative, and subject to change, but this should give you a pretty good idea of construction schedules.  Thanks for checking with the Moms Panel and let us know if you have any other questions.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
