We are traveling to Disney 9/27 to 10/4. I was wanting to know what were the best nights to see the parade shows at each park. And is the the parade in the Not so Scary Halloween Party just as good as the normal night parade in Magic Kingdom?

I would recommend staying away from the Magic Kingdom on the weekends, if possible.  I have always found it to more crowded on the weekends.  I have visited WDW many times during the end of September or beginning of October and the crowds are always pretty light.

I have also noticed that Disney's Hollywood Studios is more crowded on days that Fantasmic is showing.  Many weeks that is Monday and Thursday, but check the time guide sheet when you first arrive.  If many people are drawn to that park, fewer will be at the Magic Kingdom.

As far as Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party, the parade for the event is very different from the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade that takes place during the day at the Magic Kingdom.  I like it better, but I love Halloween.  The fireworks during the party are also excellent.

    Have a great trip
