Hi, Kelly! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Let's get you geared up and ready to chEAR on your crew during the upcoming cheerleading competition at Walt Disney World!
We have a great squad here at planDisney, and my teammate
Jackie H., who also happens to be a cheer mom, stepped up for the assist on your question. As I understand it, all of the contestants received a theme park ticket with the
Park Hopper Option as part of their entry, along with a code to link the ticket to your
My Disney Experience account. Typically, once you link a ticket to your account, you can use a
MagicBand you've purchased or an admission card that you can pick up at Guest Relations to enter the theme parks. And now,
Disney's new MagicMobile service enables you to enter the parks with your iPhone or Apple Watch just by touching it at the entrance.
It sounds like Varsity has a different procedure requiring you to pick up a badge first for your daughter's ticket. I think you may need to contact Varsity directly to arrange a convenient time to pick up the badge, since they're coordinating that effort.
However, I think you might be talking about a ticket you bought separately from the one your daughter received with her entry. If that's the case, you should be able to just use either a MagicBand or admission card to enter the parks on Friday. If you need to pick up an admission card, I suggest heading to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs after you arrive on Thursday night. You can pick up your ticket there, and save time on Friday morning for exploring in the parks!
Kelly, I hope this answered your question. If you still need more information, please feel free to drop us a line with another question. We'll do our best to help!
Thanks again for stopping by, Kelly. Sending lots of pixie dust to your chEARleader!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
