Ahoy there, Lacy!
Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your theme-night question. What an exciting adventure you’re about to set sail on! I bet you can already imagine the ocean breeze, the character greetings, the unlimited soft-serve ice cream, and all the cozy magic that the
Disney Treasure has to offer. What a perfect way to ring in the New Year!
Let’s dive right into your
question about theme nights. On most seven-night Disney Cruises, you’ll typically see the following: First night: Cruise casual (no swimwear or tank tops), one Pirate Night or a different themed deck party, three additional cruise casual nights, one formal night, and one semi-formal night—great opportunities to dress up and enjoy the ship’s photography services.
Formal and semi-formal nights are optional, but many Guests love them! Suggested attire includes men in dress pants with a jacket or a suit, and women in dresses or pantsuits.
Now, Lacy, for your specific cruise on the Disney Treasure, the itinerary is the following (subject to change):
- Night 1: Cruise casual
- Night 2: Formal night
- Night 3: Cruise casual
- Night 4: Pirate Night or Cruise Casual (complete with themed dining, photos, and a deck party)
- Night 5: Semi-formal, also New Year’s Eve
- Night 6: Cruise casual
- Night 7: Cruise casual
You’ll also be happy to hear that there is a special New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Sea, such a magical way to celebrate and ring in the new year.
Once you board, be sure to open the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. It will show you all event times, dining rotations, and details for each themed night and deck party.
Lacy, I hope this makes planning your outfits—and your magical moments—a little easier. If you have any more questions as you get ready to set sail, feel free to visit us again!
See ya real soon,
Christina
