Hi! We're traveling to Disney with a toddler (2 1/2 yr old) and wondering which hotel might have the best ambiance for her?

    Hi, Jennifer!

    Great question!

Every resort in Walt Disney World has something special to offer the toddler set, so finding the one that best suits your own little princess is easier than you might think!

Click on this Accommodations page to find each resort I mention next. In Value Resorts, try Disney's Art of Animation Resort. The newest resort at WDW, you will be amazed by the attention to Disney detail the Imagineers put into this gorgeous property. Plus, if you stay in a Family Suite, you'll have the added bonus of having a mini-kitchen, living area and two bathrooms, too. The pools are beautifully designed yet fun and the food court is truly spectacular. You'll love it.

A great Moderate Resort is Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. The resort itself is just lovely, and the dining and recreation options are fantastic, too; you can request a Royal Guest Room, which places your family "in the middle of some of your favorite Disney stories." Special features such as fiber optic lights which glitter in the headboards as fireworks and royal fabric and decor make even the littlest princesses know that a big Princess prepared this room especially for her stay.

In the Deluxe category, try Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, where the fun and unique African and animal details will immerse your family in nature and culture, all while maintaining the magic for which WDW is known.

Wonderful Disney Vacation Club villas offer some comforts of home to all Guests. Check out Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, as this will put you right next door to the Magic Kingdom. A quick walk or monorail ride to MK (great for sleepy toddlers who've played all day and need to be wheeled in their strollers back "home") is so convenient, too.

Send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help you plan your trip to WDW with your little princess in tow! :-)
