Hi Jacqueline!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your family's summer vacation sounds like it's going to be so fun! We took my son to Walt Disney World Resort when he was 6 months old and had such a great time!
Your 8-month-old son will be able to enjoy all the attractions for Guests of "Any Height". During these rides, your little one will love riding snuggled on your lap! If you are traveling with another adult and want to go on rides that do have a height requirement, I suggest using
Disney's Rider Switch service. With Rider Switch, one adult can wait with the Mouseketeers while the other adult rides the ride. After the first adult gets off the attraction, he/she can switch with the waiting adult without that adult needing to wait in line!
Your little travelers will enjoy the sights and sounds of all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks but we've found that Magic Kingdom Park was our go-to park for our son when he was a baby (and still is)! Here is a
list of attractions by height requirement for Magic Kingdom Park as well as links to view height requirements for attractions at the other three Walt Disney Resort theme parks, too!
Jacqueline, check out
