    We are traveling to Disney in Sept for 2 weeks. The last time we went we practically ate our way through the parks, the portions are so huge my husband and I were wondering can we order children's meals at table service restaurants?

    Hi Susan!

    I am a very picky eater, so there are many times where I order my meals off of the children's menu.  It is at the restaurant's discretion to do this, but it hasn't been a problem at the many locations where I have done this.  Most of the time they tell me they will give me a more adult size portion of the item on the children's menu.  

    If you aren't on the Disney Dining Plan, consider sharing a meal!  My husband and I often share lunch at a table service restaurant so we can save room for snacks throughout the day and a larger dinner.  Restaurants are very accommodating when sharing a meal.  The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Disney's Hollywood Studios cut our burger in half, split the fries and served it to us on separate plates.
