    Hello! We are traveling to Disney in Sept and I am having trouble making dining reservations. If there is no availability, can you just "walk in" and take your chances? Thanks!!

    Hi Jessica!

    You can try for "walk in" availability but your chances for actually being seated are slim. Due to free dining packages, Advance Dining Reservations are almost always necessary in September. In fact, you may walk up to a table service restaurant or Guest Services to see a sign posted out front that says "No further table service dining is available for today."

    Some restaurants that are out of the way may have availability. I would suggest trying Olivia's Cafe at Old Key West, Maya Grill at Coronado Springs, and Shutters at the Caribbean Beach Resort.

    You may also find availability at restaurants that do not take the Disney Dining Plan. One option is Bistro de Paris in Epcot.

    I would suggest having a back-up ADR even at an out of the way location in case you find walk-in availability is non-existent. For example, visit a Magic Kingdom resort restaurant before returning to the park in the evening. Take a break from touring Epcot to dine at the Boardwalk or at the Yacht and Beach Club resorts. Take a boat from Magic Kingdom to Trail's End.
