Hi! We are traveling to Disney sept 15-21, family of 5. My parents are going as well and will have their own room. I’m in charge of booking our dining reservations since we are all doing the meal plan. How do I book for us both to same time etc. Lauren

    Hi Lauren,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

If I understand your question correctly, your family and your parents are travelling to Walt Disney World Resort together, but staying in separate rooms. You’re wondering how to make your Disney dining reservations so that you can dine together, while using your respective Disney Dining Plan entitlements.

I’m happy to report that making your dining reservations couldn’t be simpler! All you need to do is to make a reservation for a party of 7 (your family of 5 + your parents). You’ll all be able to dine together at the same table and, when it comes time to use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements, just tell your server and they’ll divide everything up accordingly.

I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming visit. If I’ve misunderstood your question or if you need any other assistance, please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
