Hi Brian,
Welcome to planDisney where we’re a group of Guests, just like you, who’ve been lucky enough to experience many Disney vacations over the years, and we’re here to help make your planning process as smooth and painless as possible.
You’re in for a great stay at
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. One of the
many perks of staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel is how seamless and connected the entire experience is, from complimentary transportation to early theme park entry. It all adds up to more time making memories and less time worrying about the logistics.
Pop Century in particular is a fan favorite for so many reasons. It’s budget-friendly, vibrant, and full of larger-than-life icons from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s. It’s also conveniently located on the
Disney Skyliner line, which makes getting to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios a breeze. My family especially loves being able to hop on the Skyliner for a mid-day break or quick visit to nearby resorts like Disney’s Riviera Resort for a treat or bite to eat.
As for room requests, they can never be guaranteed, but there are a couple of steps you can take to give you the best shot at having the two rooms in your party placed near each other. First, I recommend calling the
Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line and asking a Cast Member to notate both reservation numbers and your request to be nearby. Be sure to provide both confirmation numbers during the call.
Second, even though the
Direct-to-Room feature via the My Disney Experience app is incredibly convenient, I suggest bypassing that and stopping by the front desk when you arrive. Let the Cast Member at the reception desk know that your parties are hoping to stay near each other and are happy to wait a bit longer if needed to accommodate the request. While nothing is ever guaranteed, I’ve found that when you communicate with kindness and patience, the Cast Members will do all they can to help, it’s just what they do.
I hope this helps answer your question, Brian. If there’s anything else you need as your trip gets closer,
feel free to reach back out.
Cheers,
Brent
