We will be traveling to the Disney Parks this October with our 2 year old daughter. Is there a list of rides/attractions that she can/cannot participate in? I understand how Rider Swap works, I am looking for things she CAN do while we are there.

    Hi Michael,

I think you'll be surprised at all of the attractions that you'll be able to enjoy with your little one - the list is too extensive to be able to list here!  Most attractions were designed to be enjoyed by the entire family, and there are really only a few rides in each park that have height restrictions for safety reasons.  To view that list, click HERE.

Now, I think you'll find that even though you can take your little one on some attractions, there are some she may be too frightened to ride.  Two year olds have vivid imaginations, and many can be frightened easily.  Use caution on It's Tough to Be a Bug, Haunted Mansion, Snow White's Scary Adventure and anything else that she might seem a little frightened to go on.  I'm not saying, don't do these, just don't do them first - otherwise she might not trust you to take her on anything.  You know your little girl best, and you're the best judge when it comes to deciding what she will or will not like.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
