Hi moms, we are traveling to Disney Parks for the first time. Is there a system of internal transportation like the tram, electric cars, etc. in any of the four parks, so as to move from one park to the other?

Hello, Sheela! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us again with this great question. Let's get you ready to explore all the fun of the Walt Disney World Resort!

With four Theme Parks, two Water Parks, golf courses, Resort hotels, Disney Springs, and more, there's so much to see and do at Walt Disney World! Fortunately, Disney has made getting around a breeze with several different modes of transportation you can take advantage of.

Disney's iconic monorail is the "highway in the sky," whisking you from the Magic Kingdom Park to Resorts along the line, with a connection to Epcot at the Transportation and Ticket Center. You can travel by boat between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios, and from select Resort hotels to Disney Springs. Disney buses serve all four Theme Parks, the Water Parks, Disney Springs, and all Resort hotels. And these are all free for all Walt Disney World Guests!

Another fun way to get around is the Minnie Van Service. There's an additional charge, but it's the most direct - and cutest - way to get where you're going at Walt Disney World.

And this fall, Disney will introduce the brand new Skyliner, which will allow Guests to fly above the treetops to destinations all around the Walt Disney World Resort!

Sheela, they say getting there is half the fun, and I hope you have lots of fun tooling around at Walt Disney World. Please come on by again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
