Hi Erin! Thanks so much for dropping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
This is a great question! I love how thorough you are being with your planning! The
Disney Dining Plans are fantastic and I love how they help me budget for my Walt Disney World Resort vacations because they are paid in advance.
We have vacationed at Walt Disney World Resort with and without a dining plan. While this will take a few moments to do, it's a fun task so I have a recommendation for you. Once you have tentatively planned out your days, take a look at the menus for the restaurants where you feel you may dine. Look at the items you think you and your family might select and price it out. Think about snacks and the refillable mugs as well. Once you have looked at options for two to three days of your vacation, it should become clear as to whether or not a dining plan is a good fit for your vacation plans.
You are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at a fantastic time of year!
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is scheduled for August 29 - November 23, 2019. It's amazing! Food, beverages, entertainment and seminars will delight your senses! Plus, at Magic Kingdom Park, you can enjoy
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party on select nights from August 16 - November 01, 2019. It's a great time to be at Walt Disney World Resort and I know you will enjoy every magical moment!
Thanks so much for sharing your question with the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
