We are traveling to Disney in Oct and are taking advantage of the free dining plan. Is it really necessary to book every table service meal in advance? We'd rather take our trip day by day then have to make dinner reservations before we even leave home!

Hi, Carol Ann!   I know it seems like a huge task to try to plan ahead for all your dining, but I really suggest making your Advance Dining Reservations as soon as you hit your 90 day booking window.   The Table Service Restaurants are very popular, especially with free dining being offered, and I am afraid you would miss out on some great dining if you don't make some reservations.   Your choices may be extremely limited or not available at all if you wait until day of to book something.

If you want to keep your schedule as flexible as possible, book late dinners.   This way your days are completely open, and you have a great dining experience waiting for you each night.    Or, schedule a breakfast first thing in the morning with some of your Disney pals at Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom or 'Ohana at the Polynesian.    You will have the rest of the day to do whatever sounds like fun!  Character dining is a great way to start your day and get you up and out of bed!

Have a wonderful vacation in October!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
