Hello Rebecca! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I rent a double stroller every time my family visits Walt Disney World Resort. Even as my oldest child gets to the point where she could be walking around the Theme Parks, the long days and incredible distances covered mandate a mode of transportation for little legs.
When making a decision about which stroller you should use, it comes down to balancing 2 things: comfort and efficiency. The 3 routes to take when considering strollers are renting from the Theme Parks, renting from a Third Party Vendor and bringing your own stroller from home.
When
renting a stroller from the Theme Parks or Disney Springs, you are maximizing efficiency but potentially risking comfort. The strollers available to rent are low-riding and made of durable plastic. There are unlike many traditional strollers and you will not know until you arrive whether it will be suitable for your needs. However, the strollers are convenient.
When bringing your own stroller, you can plan ahead for your child's comfort and become familiar with it's use, but will be required to travel with said stroller on
Complimentary Resort Transportation and on flights, as well as in the Theme Parks and
Disney Springs.
When renting from a Third Party Vendor, you can choose a comfortable option while avoiding lugging around a stroller during your initial travel.
You will be roaming the Theme Parks and Disney Springs while pushing this stroller so often, that I would recommend you select an option that provides maximum comfort for both child and adult.
Have a Magical Vacation!
