Will be traveling to Disney Nov. 28-Dec.2 with husband and DD5(who loves The Little Mermaid). Wondering where I should stay Art of Animation or POR Royal guestroom? And do these share a bus with other resorts? Thanks

Laura, how exciting to be in the beginning stages of planning your magical vacation for your family. She is going to have the time of her life!

If your daughter loves Ariel as much as you say she does, I would highly recommend you stay at the Art of Animation. This resort is wonderfully themed and with only three of you traveling, the room shouldn't be too cramped. Be sure to request the Little Mermaid rooms. She will flip out getting to shower in Ariel's treasure cove and see Ariel's sheet music on the table in the room. Just wait until she sees the larger than life snarfblat and Prince Eric's statue.

Art of Animation does NOT share buses with Pop Century which is great news when you are tired and ready to get home after a long day at the parks or in the morning when your little princess is anxious to get to the parks to meet that beautiful red-head! Another great feature of this hotel is the covered bus stop. Unlike the other value resorts, guests are protected from the sun (or rain) while waiting for the buses.

I will add that while I personally think the Art of Animation Resort is a great choice for your family, the Royal guestrooms at Port Orleans Riverside are pretty amazing. I recently toured them and there are cute touches from the Little Mermaid, too. But, if you want to be immersed in all aspects of the movie, I would vote for Art of Animation.

Please feel free to stop by and ask me more questions or tips on making this trip to Walt Disney World Resort a special one for your daughter. I would love to help!
