Traveling to Disney in Nov for a conference held at the Yacht Club. Is it better to stay there or on the monorail with our three children ages 4, 2, and 3.5 months? Either way, the hotels are wonderful. We do not plan on renting a car either. Thanks!

    Hi Natalia,

I just attended a meeting at the conference center at Disney's Yacht Club Resort last December.  What a lovely, well-appointed facility!  You would definitely enjoy staying at this beautiful, nautically themed resort.  It would be very convenient for the conference-goer in your family.

However, if another adult in your travel party will be responsible for entertaining the children while one of you is at the conference you might prefer to stay at one of the resorts on the monorail line of the Magic Kingdom.  That would give him or her easy access to all that the Magic Kingdom has to offer your young family.  Access to the monorail would also give that person a quick way back to the room for mid-day naps, if necessary.  If I were making this decision, I would probably book at room at Disney's Polynesian Resort in the hopes of making the trip as convenient as possible for whomever is responsible for watching the children.

Enjoy a magical stay at Walt Disney World!
