i am traveling to disney for 7 nights with my four yr old. currently i have the quick service dining plan can you estimate how much it would cost to upgrade to the regular dining plan for the two of us. thanks

Hi Jolene! One of my favorite parts of planning our Disney vacations is choosing where to eat and making sure we get the most out our dining plan.

As of February 2009, the quick service dining plan costs $29.99/night for adults and $8.99/night for children ages 3-9. The regular dining plan costs $39.99/night for adults and $10.99/night for children ages 3-9.

If you would like to upgrade your dining plan, you can do so with no problem. Simply call Disney Reservations at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639). You will pay the price difference between the two plans. For you and your four year old, the extra cost would be $12.00 a night for a total of about $84.00.

Keep in mind that you will be gaining a table service meal in place of one of your quick service meals, but the refillable mug that is included in the quick service plan is not included in the regular dining plan. The cost of a refillable mug is currently $12.95 + tax, if you were to buy it separately.

I hope this helps you decide between the two plans. Have a great trip!!
