I am traveling to Disney with my 14 month old and 3 year old. We are staying at Bay Lake Towers & renting a car. We will use the monorail & boats, but probably won't use the buses. Should we bring our own double jogging stroller or two umbrella str

    Hi Sydney,

Let me start by saying that I am incredibly jealous that you have a villa at Bay Lake Tower!  I had an opportunity to tour Disney's newest accommodations and was incredibly impressed.  Your family has picked a wonderful spot to call "home" while on vacation!

I have travelled to Disney with just about every make and model of single, double and jogging stroller made.  (Needless to say, it's time for me to have a garage sale!)  A few years back I took a trip with a double jogging stroller, and while it was very easy to push and my kids were super comfortable, I'm not sure I would bring such a huge set of wheels again.  My jogger is a typical, side-by-side model, and I had some trouble making it through the turnstiles at the entrance to the parks, and maneuvering through shops and narrow spaces, including the doors on the monorail.  (My issues stemmed from the width of the stroller.  My jogger's front tire pivots, and I would absolutely not recommend a jogger with a stationary front tire.)   I also had an opportunity to rent a slimmer jogger (City Mini) this past summer, and this stroller worked great.  It easily fit through all the tight spots I mentioned, and was a snap to push.  Finally, I have also used a standard double stroller (both side-by-side and tandem models) and both are good park options.  If your double is a slimmer model, I think it's a good choice.  If it's wide, I would opt for two smaller strollers or a typical (non-jogger) double stroller.

Whichever stroller(s) you chose, have a wonderful Disney vacation!
