    Traveling to Disney in May. Wondering if the new Disney After Hours for $149 is worth the price?

    Hi Vanessa! Disney's new After Hours event ticket has just begun in the Magic Kingdom. It is always hard to say if something is worth the cost or not as it is a personal opinion.

    The one comment that has been made about the cost is that you can buy a full day park ticket for less money. But then consider the perks of the after hours party such as shorter lines or no lines at all, most of the attractions in the park are part of this event, complimentary ice cream and water, and you can actually enter the park at 7pm so you can also enjoy the parade and fireworks that evening by just buying the event ticket. If these perks appeal to you and you don't mind staying out late at night then perhaps this is the way to go. 

    I have heard from many guests who stay off property that this is an interest for them since they are not able to enjoy the regular Extra Magic Hours in the parks. I did hear that last nights event was pretty empty so apparently having 3000 guests in the park gives the impression of empty. That is something not many of us can enjoy when visiting the Magic Kingdom.
