    Traveling to Disney in March 2013, with our 6 yr old. I've heard there is a boat which people can make reservations to see the fireworks from. Can you tell me more about this excursion, what it includes, what it's called and if you would recommend it.

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Your vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is fast approaching, March will be here before you know it!  

    The special experience you are asking about would be the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage on the Seven Seas Lagoon.  My family and I have been on this voyage several times and would highly recommend it!

    The voyage starts at Disney's Contemporary Resort where you are invited to enjoy some snacks and beverages especially for guests about to set sail on the voyage.  Guests will meet Captain Hook, Smee and the guides for the evening before heading down to the docks to board the boat.  During the sailing, the host "Patch" keeps guests entertained with Disney Trivia, witty jokes, stories and songs.  After a short boat ride Patch finds the perfect spot to watch the Fireworks.  Once the Fireworks are finished, Patch brings guests back to shore where one last surprise is waiting upon arrival.
